Donna Bedford, Global SEO Manager | Lenovo
Donna is the Global Lead of SEO for Lenovo driving SEO in 40+ countries worldwide using Lean Six Sigma best practices. As part of the role, she drives awareness through non-traditional marketing, blogger outreach and SEO best practices. Melanie Phung, Director of New Media | PBS
Why We picked Melanie: Melanie works with many websites, deals with hundreds of websites with different owners – and she controls very little of it. She will bring good insight into how to manage SEO with many sites.
Melanie works with producers, copywriters, and web developers to generate increased visibility for the depth and breadth of PBS’s online content. She believes great SEO strategy helps to bridge the divide between content, technology, and user experience.
Melanie also has experience in online reputation management and social media marketing. In 2009 and early 2010, while working for a small digital marketing agency, Melanie managed the day-to-day social media presence and overall social media strategy for the international aid organization CARE. During the humanitarian crisis following Haiti’s earthquake, CARE’s use of Twitter and Facebook was widely applauded as a great example of using social media to communicate about disaster relief.
