Google gives you a vast amount of data in Google Webmaster Tools. The challenge is too many SEOs do not know how to interpret the data to make it tell the story of what is (or may be) happening. Another challenge is that too many SEO programs aren’t logging the information so that they have it for future reference.
Google Webmaster Tools data becomes even more valuable when you have historical data to compare and use when troubleshooting issues.
