Ah, very refreshing...
The Motley Fool commented on the Yahoo layoffs and Yahoo letting me go, basically saying they knew people were being laid off, but not the kind of talent that would be leaving Yahoo. My favorite line is the intro quote:
"You tell me that you need me. Then you go and cut me down"
Definitely how it played out. Oh, well. Life goes on and for now I'm doing SEO consulting, SEO audits and building out some great SEO training programs - and I really enjoy it.

Before I never thought of worrying about my current position in my company. But now, it's completely different. Being laid off is a very tough thing to go through and the massive employment cut downs of some companies makes me worry a lot. I hope I won’t experience such dilemma, it will be very hard for me to cope and survive the present economy, especially that I have my family that I need to support.
