It's a bit dated found it burried my inbox. But they'll be good European Search Engine Marketing Statistics when you need them, and they're from a good resource - Forrester Research. The page has some layout issues, but the content is good, nonetheless.
Yahoo Directory listings are difficult to manage, and finding where to manage the listing text, payments, etc. is confusing. I'm dreaming of a directory portal, but until then, this posting will be my one-stop-shop for getting to the right place quickly. Enjoy!
To manage your Yahoo Directory Payments, use the Yahoo Wallet. (Keep a valid credit card here so that renewals are automatically billed... or so I'm told, it didn't work with the last listing.
To manage what's coming due when, use the Yahoo Billing Center. (Note, the Yahoo BIlling Center references billings by order number only, and doesn't reference domain names... YUCK!)
Don't forget to log your Order Number - This is the reference number you need to discuss anything with Yahoo. I spent hours on the phone with them on the phone today and they keep asking for the order number, so save time and frustrations by saving it in your records.
If you have issues, or something isn't in the List Management Center that should be, they don't address it by phone, instead you can send e-mail detailing the issues to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Just because you ask for a redirect to be 301, instead of 302, don't assume it's been implemented correctly. Be sure to go out to check it, I can't tell you the number of times I thought we had 301 redirects (because I had requested them) and it turns out they were actually 302. It's an easy fix, it's just that you have to identify it.
